Second Level Technical Support Representative
Location: San Francisco, CA
Meraki is looking for an experienced and hands on Second Level Technical Support professional. You will be responsible for handling escalated support cases from Meraki’s customers and business partners. You will also help to identify and write knowledge base entries to help customers identify and self- resolve issues. Responsibilities
- Research and resolve wireless network issues reported by Meraki customers and partners
- Identify issues suitable for entry in the Meraki Knowledge base, write, have reviewed and release those KB items
- Work with engineering to diagnose and resolve critical escalated issues
- Identify and report product issues in the defect database
- 3+ years of support experience for a network products company
- Knowledge of advanced TCP/IP networking concepts
- Wireless networking troubleshooting or deployment experience
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting firewall / security, IP routing, DNS, DHCP and NAT
- Hands-on, detail oriented trouble shooter.
- Capacity to deal with the growing pains of a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Team player with excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
